Midthunder was raised in New Shiprock Mexico and is of the Assiniboine Fort Peck Tribe. She spent most of her growing up within Santa Fe where her mother worked at a casting company as well as attended an Academy for Technology and the Classics. Amber originates from a Native American family on her dad's side. They are both members of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber's mom is Adopted. Amber therefore has an unknown mix of her ancestry. Prey features a majority Native American ensemble, with Dakota Beavers playing Naru's older brother, and Jhane myers as a producer. Jhane is Comanche and Blackfeet and has advised the production on a number times. Coco is the cute animal actor who portrays Sarii, was chosen for the breed she is a rare one that is known as the American Dingo. Carolina Dog is a breed that's been around for centuries.
Another message is also present in everything. In the film, TJ narrates his love for Amanda and how she is everything to him (although some of the narration is likely to be about Amanda's daughter if we examine the story further). TJ told Amanda about his feelings for her, however, she was unable to accept him due to the fact that she was in a relationship with Daniel. Later, Jack married Amanda and following her demise, Emily revealed her true persona. They've been friends ever since. They get married in the end of the series. Amanda and Wilf kiss only at midnight. Wins the entire prize pot in one go.
