Gerina-Piller
Born on March 29th, 1985, in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birthname. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican-American by heritage however she has an American citizenship. Since the age of a child, she has had a strong interest in playing athletics. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she turned 15 years old. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her secondary education. She was the winner of the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. As well as playing volleyball, she also competed at the state level. In the year 2003 she enrolled at the University of Texas. While in her senior years she was a winner of every tournament that was entered. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded Conference USA's individual player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
